Joe Reichle is a professor in the Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences department at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Reichle has served as the co-principal investigator on a federally sponsored leadership training grant, which provides training to doctoral and post-doctoral candidates in methods of providing positive behavioral support to persons with developmental disabilities who engage in problem behavior. His primary areas of research and his teaching focus on implementing augmentative communication systems and providing positive behavioral support for persons with problem behavior. In addition to his teaching and research responsibilities, Dr. Reichle serves as a reviewer for numerous scholarly journals and is a former Associate Editor of the Journal of the Association for Persons with Severe Handicaps.
