LeeAnn Melin has worked in a variety of roles within higher education for the past 22 years. Her passion is in providing opportunities for undergraduate students to learn and develop as whole beings, effective leaders, and engaged citizens. Currently she serves as the Director for Undergraduate Student Initiatives at the University of Minnesota.
LeeAnn earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota, a Masters of Public Affairs from Northern Michigan University, and is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in Higher Education at the U of M. Her research interests include the spiritual development of college students, specifically relating to meaning, purpose and connectedness. LeeAnn enjoys traveling and the outdoors. Her two teenage boys, Jackson and Mitchell, provide a source of daily creativity, humility, and perspective.
