The American Massage Therapy Association Council of Schools promotes excellence in education of massage therapy. The website describes criteria for becoming a member school.

National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork

The NCBTMB provides consumers with a description of what it means to be a NCBTMB-certified provider, as well as a search tool to help find local, certified practitioners.
