Ryan J. Milley, MAcOM, LAc, received his Master of Acupuncture [1] and Oriental Medicine (MAcOM) Degree from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine and is certified to teach Qigong [2] and practice acupuncture, Chinese herbalism, and Tui na [3] (Chinese massage). In addition to his clinical practice, Ryan serves as Informatics Director in the research department at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, where he helped develop AcuTrials™, a researcher-oriented database of acupuncture randomized controlled trials. He is a board member of the Society for Acupuncture Research and has co-authored journal articles as well as a recent book chapter, Controlled Clinical Trials of Acupuncture, in Complementary Medicine in Clinical Practice (2006).
